The Inn is yours for the weekend:
Bring eight to fourteen of your best friends and family members to the UP and have Milkweed Inn all to yourselves. Milkweed can host up to fourteen guests for a private weekend in seven rooms. We can accommodate two guests per room. Four main cabin rooms (3 queen, 1 king). Two wall tents (1 queen, 1 full), and Mercedes Sprinter 16’ Camper (camper full-size bed). Rooms can be set with additional bed/cot if guests prefer to sleep separately. Everything is included for the weekend–all meals, beverages, amenities, activites.
Friday:
Check in is Friday 5pm at our pick up location. Arrival at Milkweed 6pm. Orientation. Friday night “family-style” tasting menu 7+ courses with beverages. Smores by the fire.
Saturday:
Wake up to baked goods and coffee. Second breakfast is 11am. Lunch is 2pm. Happy Hour is 5:30pm. Saturday tasting menu is 7:30pm, 12+ courses with beverages. The rest of the night is chose your own adventure. Cards, board games, gather around the fire, or bedtime.
Sunday:
Breakfast is 10:30am. Check out is noon.
Amenities and Activities:
The main cabin is ada compliant and has two full bathrooms. Two privy onsite.
The Milkweed Inn is on 300+ lush acres of woodlands.
We are on the Sturgeon River where you can kayak, tube, and swim.
We have a Scandinavian sauna and hot tub available for use.
We have farm animals and dogs on the property that you may or may not see. Feed our horses and pigs special treats. This is our home, so please be aware if you have allergies or fears.
We have mountain bikes, yard games, archery and horseshoes.
There are hiking trails on the property, maintained trails and rustic adventure trails.
Watch Chef and team cook like a real live cooking show. Learn sourdough bread, leave with starter and curriculum.
We can host work retreats, birthdays, anniversaries, elopements, engagements and design the weekend around your special event.
For private groups we can accommodate some restrictions or allergies with enough notice so that we can prepare. However we advise against joining us if any allergy is anaphylactic.
