the milkweed inn
We are a small Inn/bnb located at the edge of the Hiawatha National Forest in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Our approximate location is between Nahma and Munising Townships. Don’t expect to find us on Google Maps, at least not yet.
We are owned and operated by Chef Iliana Regan, her wife Anna Regan, with special nods to our many friends who help make everything happen. Iliana grew up on a small ten acre farm in Indiana. She received all her cooking awards for the work she’s accomplished at her restaurants Elizabeth, Kitsune, and Bunny in Chicago, Illinois. The Milkweed Inn is one among her many dreams. Maybe the dreamiest one to date.
Anna grew up in southern Indiana and has excelled in wine education. she has received her first level sommelier and third level wine and spirits education trust certifications. she has worked in production both domestically and abroad.
Together they decided this would be the next Chapter. Each weekend during the summer months they invite you to book a weekend. Get out of your regular comforts, hang out completely off the grid, glamp, star-gaze, eat, drink, relax, fly-fish, kayak, hike, & dream for yourselves.
Reservations are paid for in advance. Confirmation, itinerary, directions and map to cabin will be sent via snail mail. Please check our packages page to book your stay. We can host up to ten guests between three in-cabin rooms, 1 2018 16’ airstream, and one super glampy tent.
